Happy Sunday!

 

When Moses is preparing the children of Israel to go over the Jordan into the promised land without him, he reviews their history of leaving Egypt and all that followed.

He then quotes this, the Lord’s response to them after they repented of idolatry. 

How many idols do we set up before the Lord, and never turn from? Oh, that we would turn back to the Lord, turn from our idols, and seek to obey him with single purpose, and that we would have a heart such as this always to fear God and keep his commandments!
